The NC State veterinary medicine department’s Turtle Rescue Team will be hosting an auction this spring to raise money for the most honorable cause in the world: turtle rescue! These are a couple cards I made to contribute to the auction. I wish I could actually attend!
Finished my picture frame holders! Turns out hot glue was the easiest way to fill in the hollow turtles. I used cardboard backing on the pink turtle to glue the magnets to, but it wasn’t really necessary so I skipped that on the purple turtle.
I might add a cardboard frame to the picture to make it stand up straighter (it kind of leans back at the top since the picture is flimsy) but overall I think they’re cute.
I have these little turtles leftover from a 4 pack I bought so I could put one in Jimmy’s surprise ball (we have a little thing with turtles). I want to put them to use so I think I’m going to adapt the dino picture holder tutorial for them.
We’ll see how this goes.
