:( I’m sorry you have to deal with the distance…I don’t know what I’d do if my Brad had to be away for a long time. I’m kinda hopeless on my own :/

Thanks. I was under the impression it was something you got used to, but in the last 6 months its just gotten harder. I also thought for some reason that being used to my dad being deployed all the time would make it easier, but it didn’t. It’d be one thing if it was a simple “working/going to school in different cities by choice” thing, but there’s very little choice involved with the military. That on top of the fact that every attempt to make it better has failed miserably despite both our best efforts just sucks.

And I don’t even know what the hell I’m gonna do when he’s at sea for 7 full months.

But on the flip side, I’m happy you get to be with your boyfriend & hopefully that doesn’t change for you.

Just thought I’d let everyone know

I replied, which ended up replying to them all (even though I know none of the other people).

Now I keep getting messages from them asking “Who’s this?”. You’d think it’d be obvious that my text was about the picture.

I’ve been on the other end (getting messages from random people after a group picture sent by a mutual friend) of the situation & maybe I just have exceptional reasoning skills, but seriously. Put 2 and 2 together people, Jesus.

If you can’t handle a little constructive criticism, don’t ask for it.

I called it.

Seriously, I am so beyond fucking sick of this. We can’t even plan a simple weekend together.

He still wants me to come up as long as he doesn’t have to work too long those days, and I want to, but that’s a lot of time and money on gas for less than 2 days together. Not to mention calling out of work Monday, which is basically $75 in lost wages.

They are going to be so pissed when I call out. But it’s the first time I’ve called out in like 8 months so I don’t really care. Half the people I work with call out once a month or more.

Was hoping I’d have Monday off though so I could call out Friday. Then I wouldn’t have to leave for Norfolk right after work (I get off at 5 pm & it’s a 7 hour drive). But I think calling out on a Friday and a Monday would be a little suspicious, so I’ll just go with Monday.
